At Gurukul Montessori School, we believe sports is an essential part of a student's holistic development. Our Sports Academy not only builds physical fitness, but also instills invaluable life skills like discipline, teamwork, leadership, confidence and true sportsmanship.

The academy provides professional training in various sports such as Judo, Football, Basketball, Badminton, Volleyball, Karate, Shooting and Kabaddi. Our experienced and well-qualified coaches guide our students to understand the techniques, rules and strategies of their respective sports with dedication.

We also provide our students with opportunities to shine at Inter-School, CBSE Cluster, District, State, National and other prestigious competitive events. Such exposure helps them gain valuable experience, develop confidence and learn the importance of fair play. Beyond the field, sports teaches them to work as a team, accept victory with humility, handle defeat with grace, and stay committed to their goals.

Our Young Champions and Their Achievements

The hard work, discipline and dedication of our young champions have brought remarkable laurels to the school:

Girls Volleyball Team
Secured the Bronze Medal in the U-14 CBSE Cluster V 2026-27 Competition.

Shooting
Our shooting students delivered an outstanding performance, winning 6 Gold and 3 Bronze Medals in the CBSE Cluster V 2026-27 competition. 6 boys qualified for the National Level, reflecting their precision, concentration and consistent practice.

Judo
Our judokas demonstrated remarkable strength and technique by winning 2 Silver and 9 Bronze Medals. 3 students qualified for the National Level, marking another significant milestone for the academy.

Kabaddi
Kabaddi has been another area of great success. Our U-19 Boys Kabaddi Team secured 1st position and won the Gold Medal in the CBSE Cluster V 2026-27 competition. Our Girls Kabaddi Team also performed commendably, securing 3rd position and winning the Bronze Medal.

Basketball
The Basketball team participated in an Inter-School Basketball competition and secured 3rd position with a Bronze Medal. Our students also participated in the "Beyond the Boundaries Competition", where the U-14 Boys team won Silver and the Girls team won Bronze Medal.
