Top CBSE Board Schools in Allahabad (Prayagraj) – How to Choose
Allahabad is now officially Prayagraj, but many parents still search for the top CBSE board schools in Allahabad. With so many options, a clear checklist helps you decide.
What to check
- Affiliation: confirm the CBSE affiliation number and school code
- Teachers: qualifications, experience and student interaction
- Infrastructure: labs, library, smart classrooms, sports and safety
- All-round growth: sports, arts, values and communication skills
- Fees: a clear structure with no surprises
- Location and transport: a manageable daily commute
Where Gurukul Montessori fits
Gurukul Montessori School, Sector-G, Shantipuram, Gohri Road, Phaphamau, is a CBSE-affiliated English medium school (Affiliation No. 2131936). Founded in 2010, it has 3000+ students and 140+ qualified teachers. Its Montessori-based early years lead into CBSE classes, supported by smart classrooms, advanced labs, a library, sports courts, a school clinic and transport.
Many parents rely only on rankings, but a school's daily environment matters more. Ask how teachers support slow and fast learners, how the school communicates with parents and how it handles discipline and safety. Check that labs, library and sports areas are actually used by students, not just shown in brochures.
Use this checklist as a guide while you shortlist. Visit during school hours, observe how students behave, speak to current parents and read the school's mandatory disclosure. A school that is open about its teachers, fees and facilities usually values parents' trust.
Students also benefit from a Language Lab, English speaking classes, personality development and career counselling. Our advice: visit two or three schools, meet teachers, see the classrooms and then choose where your child feels comfortable. Call 9452850822 to visit our campus.
